Hi everyone!!
Richie found an easy project for us this week, making butter. Even though this blog is called "Keep Boys Busy" the projects here are for boys and girls alike. So lets get started!
You will need:
- Landolake (or any other brand) Heavy Whipping Cream (236ml)
- Deep bowl
- Electric hand mixer
- Two days in advanced- leave the heavy cream carton out on your counter.
- Then pour the sour two-day cream on a bowl and whip for several minutes with hand mixer.
- The milk will start to turn into a cream- this is BUTTER!!!! Your butter will look a bit different from the one you buy at the store, because the butter you buy has salt and yellow food coloring.

Why this happen:
The cream is the fat taken from the milk. So when it is whipped, the fat sticks together to form butter!

Enjoy the butter!
